Hong Kong Flower Show 2023: Joyful Funfair in Bloom

To match with this year's theme "Bliss in Bloom", the Highways Department has created a mini theme park for everyone. In this theme park, the commonly seen but forgettable roadside elements became the main characters. Traffic cones, tires and figures from road signs were there to party and share joy. On the other hand, this year's theme flower Hydrangea spp. coupled with other spherical flowering plants, such as Dendranthema morifolium, Dahila pinnata, Brassica oleracea etc., to form a sea of gorgeous flowers with rich ups and downs in harmonious colours.

We hope to bring laughter and happiness to every visitors through our display. As we have spotted at the scene, our gorgeous flowers, like the Handroanthus chrysotrichus, Helianthus annuus and Gerbera jamesonii were hotspots of professional cameras, while the mini racing cars earned the affection from kids and families. We are honored to receive the Grand Award for Design Excellence under the category of Local Outdoor Landscape Display.
