Tenders invited for Central Kowloon Route - Remaining Works
The Highways Department (HyD) today (March 15) invited tenders for the Central Kowloon Route - Remaining Works (Contract No. HY/2023/08).
The works are scheduled to commence in August 2024 and will take about 46 months to complete. The works mainly include:
(i) design and construction of landscaping works at Yau Ma Tei Landscaped Deck, Yau Ma Tei Rest Gardens, North Tree Park and Kai Tak Phase 2B Landscaped Deck;
(ii) improvement of a section of Kai Fuk Road of approximately 300 metres in length;
(iii) planting of compensatory trees; and
(iv) associated civil works, electrical and mechanical works, road and drainage works, lighting works and establishment works.
The HyD has appointed Arup - Mott MacDonald Joint Venture (AMMJV) as the consultant to design and supervise the construction works. Interested tenderers must download the tender forms and other particulars from the e-Tendering System.
The invitation to tender was gazetted today. Submission of tenders will close at noon on May 3, 2024 (Friday). Tenderers must submit completed tenders in both soft and hard copies. The soft copy of the completed tenders must be submitted via the e-Tendering System, and the hard copy must be placed in the Government Secretariat Tender Box located at the lobby of the Public Entrance on G/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong.
