Ventilation fans are installed inside the ventilation buildings and Overhead Ventilation Duct. Air is conveyed to or drawn from the tunnel via the Overhead Ventilation Duct.
- (2) What is the purpose of the wire mesh on the ceiling?
The wire mesh is part of the thermal barrier. The thermal barrier is viscous and attaches to the ceiling securely even without the mesh, while the wire mesh further enhances its stability.
- (3) Why is it necessary to install Vitreous Enamel (VE) panels on the wall?
VE panel serves as tunnel cladding and protects the tunnel side walls and the hanging cable facilities on them. It also has 1 hour fire protection.。
- (4) Why do the niches look tilted?
The VE panels are installed according to the road gradient, while the niches are installed upright. Therefore, the facilities will appear tilted.
