Tuen Mun – Chek Lap Kok Link (TM-CLKL)
Project Description:
The TM-CLKL provides the most direct route between the Northwest New Territories and Hong Kong – Zhuhai – Macao Bridge (HZMB), the Airport and North Lantau and also an alternative route to the Airport.
The Northern Connection of TM-CLKL connects Tuen Mun Area 40 with the HZMB Hong Kong Port (HKP) via a sub-sea tunnel. The Southern Connection connects the Hong Kong Port and North Lantau on viaducts.

Commissioning Date:
Southern Connection
- Mainline (the section between the Hong Kong Port and the North Lantau Highway (urban bound)) - was opened to the public on 24 October 2018 to tally with the commissioning of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge
- The section between the Hong Kong Port and the North Lantau Highway (Tung Chung bound) - was opened to the public on 30 November 2018
