Streamlining measures for processing of development-related submissions
- Design submission to this Department for highway structures and other public road aspects in new towns / new development areas and housing developments
- Applicants may submit design information to this Department in phases during the detailed design stage.
- Applicants may liaise with relevant officers in this Department to arrange for pre-submission discussion(s) before final submission to streamline the resolution of issues for complicated cases on a need basis.
- Submissions to the Advisory Committee on the Appearance of Bridges and Associated Structures (ACABAS)
- Applicants may liaise with relevant officers in this Department to arrange for pre-submission discussion(s) before the ACABAS meetings to streamline the resolution of issues for complicated cases on a need basis.
- If no major comment is received from the majority of Committee members on the proposal, "acceptance-in-principle" status would be granted to the proposal and the applicant would be allowed to further fine-tune its proposal later so as to address the comments received from the Committee.
